M. HART
In 1992, my oldest sister decided to dress me up in her hat, scarf, and denim jacket and take me into our backyard for an impromptu photoshoot. She made me feel on top of the world that day, like I was the most beautiful 10 year old girl in the world. It was only a few short months later I would lose my sister in a motorcycle accident. Photographs were everything to my family after that day, and the images she captured took on a new meaning.
I hope to give my couples the same gift my sister gave to me. The value that only your photographs can hold.
To be a true artist, I was taught that you need to seek art outside of your creative field. To become a photographer, I didn’t just study photography. I read novels, watched classic films, visited museums around the world, and discovered art that moved me to tears. I listened to jazz legends, traveled to far-off places, learned Mozart on the piano, performed Shakespeare in the park and spent way too many hours singing show-tunes in the shower. My goal is to feel enriched as an artist so that I can later pour my everything into the art I create and deliver to my couples. I want to be your personal guide and private historian.
